Tasks such as ensuring on-site operatives were working with the correct information involved using marked-up hard copies of drawings and printing large volumes of documents in the office. 

A lot of time and energy was spent on project administration without delivering the benefit of a consistent overview of their projects.

How has a software-based solution changed TBL’s operations?

Now, TBL gets an instant view of their projects, giving them more time in their working day.

Rather than hours spent figuring out if operatives were in the right place or working on the right thing, TBL can focus support on specific aspects of their work and easily monitor progress.

For instance, users can upload unlimited fire strategy drawings in PDF format. This ensures that all stakeholders involved in the project work from the same document. 

Additionally, it enables operatives to mark up the drawings with location pins and demonstrate the progress of their work. 

I would note the biggest [difference Onetrace has made] is having more time in the day, as myself and the team now are not having to manipulate data to find out what is going on or chase up how and where things are progressing on site as it’s visible instantly from the system in a bird’s eye view.
