Fire door installers: Are you using fire protection traceability?
Fire doors aren’t like normal doors. They are among the best forms of fire protection. They can...
Let one of our representatives take you around the system.
It’s no secret: we’re in love with Onetrace and since today is the day of love, we want to profess our love of fire-stopping software to the world!
When we started developing Onetrace, we knew we were onto something game-changing for the fire safety industry. It was built out of the need for a more elegant solution; one with less administrative work for both those on-site and in the office and some awesome features that can make working remotely much more effective and efficient.
Remote working has always been at the core of what we do as we’re a remote working company ourselves, and know that site work is the first true form of remote working. This is why Onetrace is built with some cool features for the operatives, which we will definitely elaborate on, but also some for the office teams as well.
With Onetrace fire-stopping software, your office team can see everything happening on-site in real-time, making updates much more effective and efficient. No more chasing operatives to find out where they are in the middle of a job; just open Onetrace and it’s all there. And the best part about this feature is the ability to give your clients VIP access to have a bird’s eye view too.
Remote working is a little different from working from home, since at home, you’re more than likely to have a stable internet connection; whereas on-site, that’s a whole other story. Sometimes you’re in a building and there’s no WiFi and the cellular reception is quite dodgy, then what do you do? Unlike some existing solutions, you can use Onetrace even when you don’t have an internet connection. Simply download the jobs for the day and crack on as you would; once you’re connected to the internet, Onetrace will automatically sync and upload all the content.
You need to take photos on-site, but how you get them into your reports is another story. On the Onetrace app, all you need to do is take a photo and BAM! - done. No more emailing yourself, or sending them into an admin WhatsApp group; just take them on-site, right when you’re working and they are automatically uploaded to Onetrace. You can also pin locations, markup drawings and so much more right in the app. Literally, say “sayonara” to the dozens of third-party apps that you need to use to get the same job done.
3rd party accreditations are becoming more of the norm for the fire safety industry, but we know there are many companies that aren’t yet accredited, and some are working towards them. If used effectively, Onetrace’s built-in workflow can tick all of those accreditation boxes, so that if you’re accredited, working towards it, or have no plans for the moment, all of your work can be in line with current accreditation standards, giving your clients that extra peace of mind.
In 2021, we launched QR codes, which allowed operatives to just scan a QR code label right in the app, eliminating the need to physically write labels and wonder if your handwriting is legible enough for the next person who comes across that label.
The amazing thing you’ll notice after using Onetrace is how much time you’ll save on simple things. We’ve built the workflows so that it’s simple and efficient to use while giving you the power to create your own workflows. A small but big feature is how the forms work when you’re filling in the materials; you can select from your own pre-populated list of materials, and depending on the variables, you’ll only be asked for certain information - no more irrelevant fields to scroll through. This tiny feature makes sure that the right information is collected while speeding up the time spent on jobs. It’s attention to detail, as with this feature, that sets us apart from other fire-stopping software offerings and showcases our enduring love for the industry!
This isn’t all that we have to offer; Onetrace fire-stopping software has so much more that can’t be explained in just one article - even if we are screaming our love from the rooftops! We’re really proud of where we are and we have so much further to go.
Seeing is believing and nothing beats a demo so that you can watch all of the awesome features that we have built into Onetrace in action and see how well they fit your current and future fire-stopping software needs.
We are the future of fire-stopping and we’d love for you to see it. All you need to do is simply get in touch or request a demo. If you’re not ready to commit, that’s okay - you can try Onetrace completely free for 7 days with zero obligation or commitment. No fuss, no hassle.
